1. Who we are

NuVida LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

2. Information we collect

The Site does not have user accounts, and we never see or store your payment card details. We collect only what we need, from these sources:

Information you give us

• Feedback and messages: your name, email address and anything you write when you use our feedback form or email us. If you choose to share health-related details in a message, we use them only to respond to you and to improve our products.

Purchases

• Amazon Pay: when you check out with Amazon Pay on our Site, Amazon processes your payment. Amazon shares with us the details needed to fulfill your order, such as your name, email address, shipping address and what you bought. Your card or bank details stay with Amazon.
• Amazon.com: if you buy NuVida products on Amazon.com, that purchase is governed by Amazon’s own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: through Google Analytics, we collect information such as pages viewed, time on page, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location and how you arrived at the Site.
• Technical data: when you send a message through the Site, we record your IP address and browser type with it to help prevent spam. To limit abuse, we also keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to 24 hours.

3. How we use your information

• Orders: to process, ship and support your orders, returns and questions.
• Communication: to reply to your messages and send order-related updates.
• Marketing: to send offers or news, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
• Improvement: to understand how the Site is used and improve our Site and products, including through the feedback you send us.
• Security and legal compliance: to prevent spam, fraud and abuse, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

• Service providers that work on our behalf, including Amazon (payments and fulfillment), Google (email and analytics) and our website host.
• Business transfers: if NuVida is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• Legal requirements: when required by law or valid legal process.
• With your consent: for any other purpose you agree to.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed there. If you are in the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, when transferring your information to the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting and reporting requirements. Anti-spam data (the hashed IP address) is deleted automatically within 24 hours.

5. Cookies

The Site uses a small number of cookies:

• Essential: remembers that you have closed our store notice (kept for 7 days), plus a cookie our web host uses to tell real visitors from automated bots.
• Analytics: Google Analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the Site.
• Checkout: Amazon sets its own cookies when you use the Amazon Pay button.

• You can set your browser to block or delete some or all cookies.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Do Not Track

The Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals. You can limit tracking with your browser settings or the opt-outs above.

Age requirement

NuVida products are intended for adults, and the Site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.

Links to other sites

The Site links to third-party websites, such as Amazon and the publishers of the studies on our Sources page. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when we post them here, and we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
